| It's been a busy but lovely week in Monterrey... we got our blood tests this morning and we're having our civil ceremony next week. We've been busy with "house stuff" and "wedding stuff" all week... and today we're having a nice Thanksgiving dinner with Roberto's mom.
Roberto and I made this video last weekend for all of you in Missouri. We are missing you today and we love you very much! Take care and have a wonderful holiday...
Love, Sarah and Roberto

| We decided to buy the house! It's already partially constructed, and we will be moving in sometime in December. Here we are with OUR HOUSE!
Things have been super busy... I'm proctoring AP exams, finishing up the school year with my seniors, preparing the juniors for the fall... trying to plan a summer trip, plan a wedding, buy a house, exercise regularly, and pack for my move into Roberto's apartment... there hasn't been a lot of time for art class lately, but I did just finish a painting last night.
I know, it's weird... but I like it. There is a lot of texture that you can't see here, but in person it's "bumpy" and looks quite cool. I did it with this weird technique using watered-down acrylics, spray paints, and gasoline. It's messy and stinky but fun. Unfortunately, art classes will have to go by the wayside for a while for financial reasons. I'll do it again next summer. Besides, by then I'll have a whole house of walls to fill. |

| We've been looking at this house and might be buying soon... Enjoy! :) Sarah
